The Deloitte Film Festival started out as a community building exercise at Deloitte's American branch last year, with over 30,000 employees, almost a quarter of the firm's staff in the U.S., engaged in the campaign. Other than team building, the film making exercise was conceived to reach out to potential new employees.

Deloitte employees were asked to film short sequences that dealt with their experiences working for the advisory firm and to try to answer the question ''What's your Deloitte?'' 2,000 people in teams of one to seven got involved in creating the short films.

The campaign resulted in more than 370 submissions, which were subsequently uploaded on an intranet site and rated by other Deloitte employees. A special jury picked the finalists and then it was up to the employees to vote for the winners.

The best videos that came out of the Deloitte Film Festival are now available online. Some of them will be used in the company's recruitment activities, as part of Deloitte's ongoing efforts to reach out to the new Generation Y workforce.
