Convergys acquires technology provider for $335 million

Customer management firm Convergys has announced the purchase of Intervoice, technology provider and leader in multi-channel automated information solutions. The deal is worth $335 million.

The acquisition, which has now been completed, will make it possible for clients to easily access a suite of solutions from a single source and boost both Convergys and Intervoice's revenue growth.

Convergys president and CEO Dave Dougherty said:

“This acquisition is about investing to address the current and future trends of our clients. Together, we will ensure that all clients and partners have access to industry-leading technology, professional services, and support solutions that enhance relationship management across all touch points.”
