Hitachi Consulting selected for enterprise-wide field service automation

Hobart Service, a leading food service manufacturer, has chosen Hitachi Consulting to implement a mobile field service automation project featuring Microsoft Dynamics AX(R) technology and Hitachi Consulting Field Service Automation. The 1,000-plus user solution will facilitate Hobart delivering a better customer experience by providing streamlined back-office operations and automated field service to its branch offices nationwide.

To meet dramatic growth initiatives, Hobart wanted to overhaul operations and replace its legacy systems with a centralized, enterprise system providing real-time information that enables improved decision making and customer responsiveness. The goal was to find a scalable field service automation solution that would serve the company's expanding number of field and corporate offices, linking together its nationwide network of field technicians, customer service representatives and back office systems.

After a rigorous selection process, Hobart chose Hitachi Consulting as its field service vendor of choice. Hobart thoroughly vetted Hitachi Consulting and the product set and determined that the solution was the right fit for its sophisticated field service requirements.
